For monthly face-to-face support Cambridge VBAC Friends joined forces in early 2015 with Cambridge & Hinchingbrooke Birth Choices.
Cambridge & Hinchingbrooke Birth Choices is a FREE drop-in session, held three times a month and run by local doula volunteers.
The volunteers who run the group aim to provide encouragement and emotional support, practical suggestions and signposting. They do not provide any medical advice.
The sessions are a friendly and non-judgmental space, a great place for women to explore their options for birth after caesarean and meet other mums-to-be. They’re open to all women so do tell your friends!
There are three monthly drop-in sessions, click on the link for dates, locations and directions.
- The first Friday of the month at the Education Centre in Hinchingbrooke Hospital, Huntingdon, 12-2pm (partners and children welcome)
- The second Friday of the month, 12:30pm-2:30pm, at Cambridge Women’s Resource Centre (CWRC is a women-only space)
- The last Friday of the month, 1pm-3pm at Satyam Yoga Centre (partners and children welcome).
